Charlemayne N. Walker

Senior Counsel

Charlemayne N. Walker focuses his practice in the areas of commercial real estate and affordable housing, including tax-exempt bond financing and low income housing tax credit transactions, business formation and advice, legal opinion letters, and government affairs and administrative law. Charlemayne has extensive experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing various kinds of loan documents and real estate due diligence items executed in connection with commercial real estate and affordable housing transactions. Prior to joining The Danneman Firm, Charlemayne served as issuer/lender’s counsel for two housing finance agencies: as an Assistant General Counsel for the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency; and as an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. He also served as an Assistant Solicitor for the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, where he represented its Department of Housing and Community Development and its Department of Finance.
