Earlier this week TD Bank donated $2.5 million to affordable housing initiatives to support its sixth annual “Housing for Everyone” grant competition.  There will be 25 non-profits receiving $100,000 of funding in communities that surround TD Banks nation-wide.

TD Bank Charitable Foundation’s President, Elizabeth Warn, stated the importance of this initiative: “Housing experts have identified a pressing need for more energy efficient, affordable housing and the qualified staff to help build them…We are proud to award grants to local nonprofit organizations that focus on these critical areas.”
