Michael A. DeNote is a seasoned Delaware real estate attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial real estate transactions, land use matters, and real estate–related issues. He advises developers, businesses, financial institutions, and governmental entities on Delaware real estate matters with a practical, detail-oriented approach tailored to efficient deal execution.
Michael has nearly two decades of experience handling acquisitions and dispositions, financings, leasing, zoning and land use approvals, and development matters across a broad range of asset classes. His work regularly involves coordinating all aspects of transactions from initial structuring through closing, including drafting and negotiating agreements of sale, leases, easements, and financing documents, as well as managing title and closing matters.
Michael represented the Delaware State Housing Authority for more than a decade on all real estate related matters including all low-income housing transactions in the State of Delaware involving low-income housing tax credits. He also has extensive experience advising clients on large-scale residential, commercial and industrial developments in Delaware, including residential subdivisions, warehouse, office, retail, health care, and mixed-use projects.
