In follow-up to Max’s post on the proposed amendment to the HUD Fiscal Year 2011 Appropriations Act that would severely cut several important affordable housing programs administered by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the amendment was withdrawn so the programs, including but not limited to the Hope VI appropriation, are safe for now.
